Linda Bevins
Linda began her career in the Midwest as a cost accountant for various manufacturing companies. Then she spring-boarded into the travel world; her real passion was designing and escorting tours for groups both inbound from Europe and outbound from the US. She attended National Tour Conferences, earning her Professional Tour Certification. Interacting with group leaders and major tour companies from all over the world has been one of the highlights of her career. Northern California has been her home for 35 years and she has continued in semi-retirement to work with many senior groups. Linda has traveled all over the world – riding an elephant in Africa, visiting the koalas and kangaroos in Australia, riding a hot air balloon in the Rockies, river rafting in Alaska, riding in a snow coach in Yellowstone’s winter. Those are just some of her adventures. She looks forward to having you come along and see where the Lincoln Hills Travel Group is adventuring now.
Joanne Schumacher
Joanne moved to Lincoln Hills in 2005 and has been an enthusiastic owner here since then. She and her late husband traveled with the Travel Group many times over the years and became huge fans of Collette trips. Now she is thrilled to be part of the Committee as a Travel Group Leader. Her background in leadership positions in high tech companies in the Bay area has primed her enthusiasm for meeting a variety of people and supporting them to have great travel adventures. One of her favorite trips was a small ship cruise on the Rhine and Moselle rivers from Amsterdam to Basel, Switzerland. All of Great Britain, especially London is also among her favorite places to explore. No matter where she goes, she loves to find wonderful sights, culture, art and food to enjoy.
Pam Speck
Before moving here in 2019, Pam and her husband traveled often to Hawaii, but also the South Sea Islands, Italy, the Caribbean, Southern France and road trips in western and southwestern US. In recent years she has traveled to Mexico, and with Collette to Spain and Portugal, Switzerland and the historical area of US from Philadelphia to Virginia and DC. She is anxious to see other parts of the world, especially a cruise from Amsterdam through Belgium and south. She grew up in Marysville but spent most of her adult life in the Bay Area working for electronic firms in accounting and also teaching technology in elementary schools. But now it is time to see the rest of the world. Perhaps you will join her on her adventures or let her help you plan some of your own.
